ICA Studio was founded from the meeting of two engineers, Andrea Protti and Alberto Restelli, with a simple idea: to address technical problems without shortcuts.

From feasibility analysis to final commissioning, every project is managed in-house with continuity, operational focus and cross-disciplinary expertise.

In almost thirty years of activity we have worked on plants, permits and projects that required not only technical knowledge, but also the ability to find solutions where there were still no established references.

When we started, much of the information and expertise now acquired was difficult to find.

For this reason we studied plants across Europe, explored regulations, technologies and processes, and gradually built a know-how that has enabled us to develop complex projects even in particularly demanding permitting and management contexts.

Today we work in the fields of waste treatment, wastewater, industrial infrastructure, energy and the environmental optimisation of production processes, developing sustainable projects from a technical, operational, economic and environmental perspective. We have also built significant expertise in the specific field of sludge, special waste, solid and liquid waste-to-energy systems.

Our structure allows us to work quickly, build new expertise fast and provide every client with a counterpart who truly knows the project, from start to finish.
